VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Get ready for our 2008 Vacation Bible School, God’s Big Backyard, that starts in your own backyard and gets bigger each day as kids take the love of Jesus into their neighborhoods and communities! This outdoor adventure will take place daily right here at New Hope Church beginning on Monday, August 4, through Friday, August 8, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Watch next week’s bulletin for signup information. property are now being sold. (See photos, left.) Order forms are available in
the November newsletter, and in the church office. Cost is $8 for one packet of

The Vietnam Veterans of America are in need of clothing,
bedding, draperies, housewares, toys, small furniture, tools, and small
appliances (no TVs or computer monitors). To make donations, please call

CELL PHONE PROGRAM
Another Way We Want to be Good Stewards
of God’s Earth
. . . and to
reach out to the community.
The Deacons
are collecting your “old” cell phones to be distributed to Senior Citizens by
the Westmoreland Area on Aging. These phones will be for emergency use only by
the recipients and will be programmed so that they may call 911 from their home
or vehicle. Please bring in cell phones you are no longer using and add to the
collection box in the Narthex. So far, we have collected approximately 80
phones. Thank You! Back
